Emilia Clarke pulls out of upcoming 'Terminator' sequels

First off, "Terminator: Genisys" was not a good movie but Emilia Clarke's portrayal of Sarah Connor was easily the best aspect of 2015 dud.

Clarke confirmed to ComingSoon.net she has no plans to be a part of any further Terminator sequels. With the Game of Thrones star pulling out, this diehard Terminator fan has officially lost all interest in any reboots, rebirths, sequels, prequels or whatever.

The time is now to let this be.

She played the role of Sarah Connor authentically and with the proper level of distrust and intensity and this is a bummer. Here's what she had to say:

“No,” Clarke told the website when they asked if she might play Sarah Connor again in the future. “Can I say that? It’s okay. No. Uh-uh. But I have some very different roles coming up.”

Any Terminator fans out there? What do you want to see happen: Recast the role or let the series fade away until it gets ultimately rebooted the next time Paramount needs a quick $440 million?
