Emma Schaefer is reporting on EGMnow.com that production on a new Spider-Man game has started. This tidbit of info was obtained from a stuntman's resume, which has been a great way recently to get an inside scoop on game production due to mo-capping. His resume list's Sony as the publisher of this game, which makes sense because they now hold the licence. This also makes sense that it seems to be a PS4 exclusive.
Spider-Man games have a long history for me. I still play the Dreamcast Spiderman man game on occasion (usually as the amazing bag-man). Activision hadn't had much luck in publishing Spider-Man games over the past decade. Two have been moderately well received (Shattered Dimensions and Web of Shadows), the rest have been garbage. Will Sony be able to right the Spidey-ship?
