In an interview with GameInformer, Final Fantasy 7 Remake producer Yoshinori Kitase revealed new details about the much anticipated game.
Chief among them, the idea that each "episode" will be approximately the size of Final Fantasy 13.
According to HowLongToBeat.com, this roughly translates to approximately 50 to 100 hours (higher, obviously, for completionists).
"It will essentially be a full scale game for each part of the multi-part series."
Initial complaints warned that the multi-part format was a Square-Enix cash-grab, which would result in an experience similar to the latest "Hitman" release (a single mission or story experience per "episode," separated by months of waiting for the next... an experience similar to EVERY TELLTALE GAME EVER).
Yoshinori's statements were an attempt to assuage these fears. We, as skeptical fans know better, and will wait until we get closer to the release of the first game to be sure.
