Comic Review: Civil War II #8

It's over. It's finally over. An event reviled by so many that Marvel went ahead and ruined the ending four months in advance hoping we would all move on.

And we did... to DC Rebirth.

Well, some of us stuck around. Wither out of sheer ignorance or a deep seated sense of masochism, I soldiered on. I collected them all. I have finished the fight. You know who else finished the fight? Carol Danvers.

Tell yourself that when you go to sleep at night

But you knew that, didn't you? How could we all not know it? I mean there are three (soon to be four) issues of Doom-Man-Iron-Pants out there as well as numerous other books that have moved past this story back in October. Tony Stark is sorta dead, but not really totes dead. Clint Barton wants to do some clandestine type stuff. Miles Morales will never stop crying (as if Bendis would let him). Ulysses transcended to godhood. And what hell is this?

This one panel is more interesting than the rest of the series combined

You know what? I don't care! It's over. I don't have to think about this any more. We are done.

....

....

Dammit there is an "Aftermath" comic coming too. Shit.
