He's BACK. Well, mostly.
The CW is reviving John Constantine as an animated series on CW Seed. Matt Ryan will reprise his role as the titular character, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The live-action Constantine was short-lived, lasting only a single season on NBC due to poor ratings. We've seen Ryan's Constantine return for a single episode of Arrow, and in the animated Justice League Dark.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the new, animated Constantine consists of 5 or 6 10-minute episodes, which we'll see sometime later this year. It joins the already popular Vixen, which saw it's second season on CW Seed in October. Even better, you can watch all 13 of the original live-action Constantine episodes on the streaming platform.
Hopefully, this also means we'll see more of Matt Ryan on the CW's Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl.
