#ManCrushMonday: Jim Cummings

Have you ever watched a cartoon, heard a specific voice, and thought "I know that voice from somewhere.  Who is that?"

Well, honestly?  It's probably Jim Cummings.

Cummings is one of the most popular and in-demand voice actor in the industry, and there's pretty much a 95% chance that if you've watched an animated show or movie, he's probably involved.

Cummings grew up mimicking his favorite cartoon characters, and his impersonation skills paid off, as he took over iconic roles such as Winnie-the-Pooh, Tigger, and the Tasmanian Devil as their original voice actors retired or passed away.  This launched him into a full-time career, and he's been able to now help originate new classics, such as Bonkers, Darkwing Duck, and my personal favorite and childhood crush, Don Karnage from Disney's Tailspin.

And good news everyone!  Grand Rapids Comic Con just recently announced that Jim Cummings will be a guest at their 2017 event!  So you'll get to meet the man that pretty much shaped the childhood of every Gen-Yer and early Millennial with a television set.
