Video Game Review: Spaceplan

First off, the less I say about this game, the better it will be for you if you want to experience it. So I will not spoil the hell out of it like I normally do in reviews, because the story is... well... unique.

Watch the trailer.

I know, the trailer doesn't tell you anything, but it has a charm to it.

This game has charm. Allot of it. It references Mathew McConaughey and Stephen Hawking in the same breath and has more puns about potatoes than you would think possible. It's spudactular.

I'm sorry. I don't want to make a hash of this review.

Sorry again.

The thing to really know is that this is an "idle" game. It's a game that sorta plays itself. Kinda. I mean, it does for up to 90 minutes but you'll have to seriously upgrade your "thing maker" in order for it to go that long. This game is also a "clicker," a quasi browser type game. It's simple, but is rather compelling.

The music also has a trance like effect on me. It's pleasantly non offensive yet still interesting.

I completed the game in about 2 days, and I don't really plan on playing it again. It depends on how attached to the $2.99 you will pay for a game you'll probably only play once. My recommendation: skip Dunkin Donuts for a day and buy this... it's worth it.
